Emerald -Drop Snow tea

“This recipe was inspired by one of my favorite movies, Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.”


Ingredients:


  • 3 cups

    hot water

  • 2 tablespoons

    Italian red wine, or more to taste

  • 2 tablespoons

    white sugar

  • 3/4 teaspoon

    ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon

    ground nutmeg

  • 1/4 teaspoon

    ground ginger

  • 4

    fresh spearmint leaves

  • 1 leaf

    fresh mint leaf

  • 1/2

    apple, cubed

Directions:


  • Combine water , red wine, sugar, cinnamon , nutmeg , ginger, mint leaves and mint leaves in a saucepan ; bring to boil. Reduce the heat to low and add apple mixture. Simmer tea While Apple breaks easily with a fork , about 5 minutes. Remove the apple using a slotted spoon or strainer and pour the tea into a mug .
