Horchata Vanessa

“Just as yummy as taqueria horchata!”


Ingredients:


  • 2 2/3 cups

    uncooked white rice

  • 10 cups

    water, divided

  • 4

    cinnamon sticks

  • 1 cup

    soy milk

  • 1 tablespoon

    vanilla extract

  • 1 cup

    white sugar

Directions:


  • Place about polovinyrisa and 2 cups of water in a blender ; pulse until the rice around the earth.

  • Pour about 3 cups more water in a blender and add 2 sticks of cinnamon ; Mix cinnamon sticks to not break .

  • Pour rice mixture into a large pitcher.

  • Repeat the steps until all the rice , water and cinnamon sticks do not mix and pour into a pitcher .

  • Cover and refrigerate jug , at least 4 hours or overnight.

  • Strain the mixture through a sieve of rice to another pitcher or bowl and throw rice and cinnamon.

  • Movement of soybean milk, sugar and vanilla in a tense liquid; Chill until ready to serve .
