Spiced Apple Cider

“Easy and tasty soft apple cider appropriate for kids and adults. This is great on a cold winter day or for a Christmas party.”


Ingredients:


  • 2 cups

    water

  • 4

    cinnamon sticks, or more to taste

  • 1 tablespoon

    whole cloves

  • 1/2 teaspoon

    ground allspice

  • 8 cups

    apple juice

  • 2

    oranges, thinly sliced into rounds

  • 1

    lemon, thinly sliced into rounds

Directions:


  • Combine the water, cinnamon sticks , cloves and allspice in a large saucepan ; boil, reducing heat to medium – low and cook until not combine flavors , about 10 minutes. Strain and discard spices. Back spicy water in a saucepan .

  • Stir apple juice, orange slices and lemon slices in a spicy water. Cook over medium heat until warmed from 10 to 15 minutes.
