Red Hot Liquor

“This is dead simple to make, and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it came out. The candy’s spicy cinnamon flavor and sweetness really mellows the burn of drinking straight 80-proof booze.”


Ingredients:


  • 1 cup

    cinnamon red hot candies

  • 2 cups

    vodka

Directions:


  • Pour Red Hot candies in a resealable plastic bag . Crush candy with a hammer or rolling pin. Transfer crushed candy in a food processor and pulse until candy do not form a fine powder.

  • Movement candy powder and vodka together in a bowl . Cover bowl tightly with plastic wrap and leave until the powder is dissolved, at least 2 hours.

  • Pour the vodka mixture through a fine sieve into a bowl and discard any candy pieces that do not dissolve . Pour the vodka bottle and seal.
