  • 1 (15 ounce) can

    garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1 (28 ounce) can

    whole peeled tomatoes, chopped, juice reserved

  • 1/2 teaspoon

    dried basil

  • 1/2 teaspoon

    dried thyme

  • salt and pepper to taste
